Summer Reading Starts June 11

The Darby Library begins its summer of fun and educational events starting with the Sign-Up, Ice Cream Party, and University of Montana Spectrum Activity to kick off the Summer Reading Program on Tuesday, June 11, at 12 PM.  There will be Lunch in the Park, adjacent to the Library, at 11:30, which is free for kids age 18 and younger.

Following that, there will be kids’ activities every Tuesday at noon through August 20, including several UM Spectrum mobile science program activities, galaxy T Shirts, planet jewelry, moon dough, a planetarium field trip and pizza in the park on July 23, art in the park, rocket building and moon and stars mobile.

If you can’t make the events on June 11, don’t forget to stop at the Library desk and sign up for the Summer Reading Program (SRP).  You can win prizes for reading.
